My mom and I decided to have our quarterly haircut and a bit of pampering set today, which is coincidentally Valentines day, well, it's my only available day due to my very busy schedule for work. So we had our haircut just around the corner of our neighborhood, it's more like a trim because my mom and I sport pixie cuts so fixing it is quite fast. Afterwards, I invited my mom to have our snacks in Bake and Brew Cafe which is just a few blocks away from the salon.

I was curious to try this out because It was already on operation for almost a year and a half and it has good reviews in zomato.ph

The place is quaint but it has that homey ambiance that serves the target market around the area.

my mom and I tried their red velvet cheesecake which is the best cheesecake I have eaten! It was delicioso! and the price is also a big bonus!

It's the best cheesecake for only 120php! It's super worth it! The cake has a layer of the red velvet cake and another of cheesecake. The layers are then separated by unsweetened Icing that complements the sweetness of the cake and the strong taste of the cheesecake.

We also tried their White mocha latte which is 105php per 10oz. It's so delicious that I would definitely choose this over those commercialized high end lattes I have tried!

I tried their Smoked Salmon panini which is only 140php...and boy It was so great, healthy and heavy that I'll definitely come back for this!

Usually when I order salmon sandwiches from restaurants, I'm always having a problem with the quality of salmon they put on the sandwiches, but with these sandwich I could give my 2 thumbs up!!

They also have internet and convenience outlets in the area which is a plus point for me because I am a type of person who usually studies in cafes! Their staff is also very friendly and accomodating so you'll always feel homey in the place :)

I would definitely comeback to this cafe with my friends... actually I am already thinking of a date with my friends in this place!

For the past two months, I have started my liking to Minimalist fashion. The clean lines, structured shape of clothes, the plain but well thought of composition of clothes and the monochromatic fashion never fail to catch my eye.

Minimalist fashion takes its inspiration on the 1990's fashion. It focuses on clean cuts, lines, structured fitting, fabric details and comfort. Patterns are a no-no for this trend, it only focuses on neutral colors and plain style. Accessories are worn with this trend, but they should be delicate, simple and personal. Fashion brands that are in Minimalist fashion are Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Jill Sanders, The Row, Alexander Wang, Narciso Rodriguez and Zero + Mario Cornejo

Celebrities that practice Minimalist fashion are: Caroline Bessette- Kennedy, Vanessa Traina, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley Olsen and Victoria Beckham.
